Author Janet Conner is an expert on soul writing, personal prayer, and
forgiveness. She is the creator of Spiritual Geography, a writing system
that heals the broken heart. After a traumatic divorce, she learned how
to listen to her own inner wisdom. Out of
this experience came a writing style Conner connects with the soul. It
is based on four steps: Show Up, Open Up, Listen Up, and Follow Up.
At the outset, the author notes: "There is a voice inside you. There
is a voice inside everyone. Whether you hear it or not, the Voice is
there. Whether you acknowledge it or not, the Voice is there. Whether
you ask it for help or ignore its guidance, the Voice is still there.
Waiting. It is waiting for you to stop, if just for a moment, and
listen. The Voice is always there, guiding you, encouraging you, loving
you."
Conner shares the different things that must be done to begin this
process of accessing the Voice within and writing down the soul. She
suggests creating a schedule, slowing down, getting a journal and a pen,
making yourself available, and creating a sacred writing space. She shares spiritual insights along with scientific data on mind
research and closes with a rich and substantive group of resources that
can support Writing Down the Soul.

English Hardcover Third Edition is the complete publication which consists of: Preface, Text, Workbook for Students, Manual for Teachers, Clarification of Terms, Supplements.
This Combined Volume,
is the only edition that contains in one place all of the writings that
Dr. Helen Schucman, its Scribe, authorized to be printed.
It also includes the Supplements to A Course in Miracles, "Psychotherapy: Purpose, Process and Practice and The Song of Prayer." These sections are extensions of the Course principles, which were dictated to Dr. Schucman shortly after she completed A Course in Miracles.
As its title implies, the Course, a self-study program, is arranged
throughout as a teaching device. It consists of three books: a 669-page
Text, a 478-page Workbook for Students, and an 88-page Manual for
Teachers. The order in which students choose to use the books, and the
ways in which they study them, depend on their particular needs and
preferences.
The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is
explained, step by step, at both the theoretical and practical levels.
It emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather
than theology. It specifically states that a universal theology is
impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but
necessary. (Manual, p. 77) Although Christian in statement, the Course
deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one
version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one
differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end.
A Course in Miracles group will start with lesson 1 of 365 daily lessons beginning Thursday, January 1 in Rm #301.
The Hidden Messages in Water is an eye-opening theory showing how water
is deeply connected to people's individual and collective
consciousness. Drawing from his own research, scientific researcher,
healer, and popular lecturer Dr. Masaru Emoto describes the ability of
water to absorb, hold, and even retransmit human feelings and emotions.
Using high-speed photography, he found that crystals formed in frozen
water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed
toward it. Music, visual images, words written on paper, and
photographs also have an impact on the crystal structure.
Emoto
theorizes that since water has the ability to receive a wide range of
frequencies, it can also reflect the universe in this manner. He found
that water from clear springs and water exposed to loving words shows
brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns, while polluted
water and water exposed to negative thoughts forms incomplete,
asymmetrical patterns with dull colors. Emoto believes that since
people are 70 percent water, and the Earth is 70 percent water, we can
heal our planet and ourselves by consciously expressing love and
goodwill.
Drawing upon the story of Adam and Eve, author don Miguel Ruiz refers to the forbidden
tree of knowledge and likens the abandonment of the true self to the
fall from heaven. What Ruiz calls "the voice of knowledge" others
spiritual teachers might call ego--the hidden and carefully defended
belief system that prevents us from living and expressing who we really
are. "The structure of our knowledge makes us feel safe&.When we
discover that we are not what we believe we are, the foundation of our
entire reality begins to collapse." Saying only what one
means, refusing to speak against one's self - allows anyone to quiet
those inner tyrannical thoughts so that we can become aware of our
Voice of Integrity. Knowledge then becomes an ally, and life becomes an
expression of the authentic self.
In the Toltec tradition, Ruiz says
every human is an artist, "and the supreme art is the expression of the
beauty of our spirit." He explains that there are two kinds of artists:
"the ones who create their story without awareness, and the ones who
recover awareness and create their story with truth and love." The
recovering of awareness is what this fourth book in the Toltec Wisdom
series is all about. Each chapter closes with "Points to Ponder"--summary thoughts to
sleep upon as you create the more authentic story of your life.
Author don Miguel Ruiz begins each of his lectures and classes with a prayer or
guided meditation to inspire and invoke a receptive frame of mind and
to reinforce the concepts being introduced. Similarly, readers can use
this book as a source of inspiration in times of need or as daily
encouragement. In Prayers he introduces his favorite prayers and meditations. The prayers address such topics as wisdom, healing,
courage, love, self-love, forgiveness, integrity, freedom, happiness,
and truth.
In The Mastery of Love, don Miguel illuminates the fear-based beliefs
and assumptions that undermine love and lead to suffering and drama in
our relationships. Using insightful stories to bring his message to
life, he shows us how to heal our emotional wounds, recover the freedom
and joy that are our birthright, and restore the spirit of playfulness
that is vital to loving relationships. Using teachings from the three
Toltec Masteries (Awareness, Transformation, and Love) as a foundation,
don Miguel brings to light the fallacies and misplaced expectations
about love that permeate most relationships. He gracefully shares his
wisdom through delightful and engaging stories that clarify each point
and bring his message to life.
This charming petite book excerpts the best-selling original book, The Four Agreements in a
concise and readable way of presenting The Four Agreements:
The knowledge contained within this life-changing volume has the power
to replace fear with joy. Author don Miguel Ruiz guides readers as they move beyond fear
into a state of empowerment by revealing the basic elements of Toltec
wisdom; tools for transformation; exercises and ceremonies to shed
fear, judgment and guilt; information on life after death; and the
spiritual practices that form the basis of The Four Agreements.
Fear is the source of all of the negative agreements we've made with
life. It can alienate us from the joy that is our birthright. When we
are able to look at our lives without fear or judgments, we realize
that reality can be whatever we want it to be. Beyond Fear leads seekers of the Toltec way of freedom and joy on their spiritual journey into a state of empowerment. Beyond Fear
contains information on life after death, prophecies about the
evolution of humanity, and exercises and ceremonies to walk readers
through the process of shedding fear and becoming spiritually and
emotionally alive.
